SPI TM10-WR-DVR Kit (Thermos)
The SPI TM10-WR-DVR Kit was designed to conceal a Wireless Receiver, body-worn DVR, a wired remote, microphone and a high-resolution, black & white video camera to be used for covert video and audio surveillance. The overall idea is to “hide in plain sight” and the Travel Mug is so common it typically goes unnoticed in most locations. What makes this cup unlike any other is that it was manufactured using special “Black Ops Plastic”. This gives it the unique ability to appear totally black to the human eye but as clear as glass to a black & white camera. Unlike other concealments there is no need for an aperture, or hole, for the camera to see through since the whole cup is clear to the camera. The cradle that holds the camera and recorder can be repositioned to accommodate a right or left handed person holding the cup. Also, since the material is plastic, a transmitter could be added that would give the user the ability to transmit the video and/or audio feed right through the cup with minimal interference.
